You may have heard last week that Union Station may be getting a much needed boost. Plans were revealed that include a $70 Million dollar Amusement Park that would feature a giant ferris wheel. Today's photo is of the 1904 World's Fair Ferris Wheel. The cars of the ferris wheel were constructed with old train cars and each one held 60 people!! Sold out the ferris wheel would carry 2160 passengers. Many weddings took place in the ferris wheel and at .50 cents per person the wheel generated a lot of revenue.
