
The following programs are available to 501 C 3 or qualified tax-exempt organizations unless otherwise stated. Additional guidelines are available by request by emailing [email protected].
In conjunction with a non-for-profit event or public awareness campaign, Emmis St. Louis has a limited PSA inventory available. Thirty- second (:30) PSA requests must be received at least 4-weeks in advance of requested run dates. Schedule is not guaranteed. The 97.1 FM Talk Charity of the Month program (COM) Program was created to assist a number of non-profit organizations with a month-long public-awareness campaign.
Organizations chosen to participate in our Charity of the Month Program will receive:
Pre-recorded PSA's for the entire month (Average Total: 50)
Featured logo and link on the FM NewsTalk 97.1 Community Connection webpage (www.971talk.com) for the entire month
To Submit Your Organization as COM:
Please email the following information at least three months prior to requested event date. For example, if your organization is having an event in June, your request should be submitted around the event date in March. Your submission is considered along with other COM requests received. Each of our station’s websites hosts a Community Calendar page for organizations to display their community events. If interested in having your event featured on the Community Calendar pages, please submit the following information via email using the format below: In the email Subject line, type: • Community Calendar Posting
In the email body type: • Event Title: • Date(s): • Where: • Event Description: (a brief description of the event including contact name, phone number and/or email and website address. Description must 150 words or less) NOTE: Calendar requests must be received at least five (5) weeks prior to event date. “Today’s Issues" is a 25 – minute public affairs program hosted by 15-year radio veteran, Kristi Carson. It airs Sundays at 5 am CST on FM NewsTalk 97.1, K-Hits 96, and 105.7 The Point and at 6 am CST on KSHE 95. The program features interviews on public-related issues and non-for-profits, Sixty – Second (:60) Public Service Announcement opportunities; and a “Community Calendar” segment which lists different community events that are submitted to the Public Affairs Department. Content should benefit the local and broader communities served by Emmis St. Louis.
