John wants a “no smoking ban.” (Think about it - we already have that.)

We were remembering Old commercials for radio stations:

“Never too old to Rock & Roll.” - that guy was a chain smoker & died of lung cancer.

The “mouth girl” was also the Tic Tac girl, Kelly Harmon (sister of Mark).

Teri Garr starred in several light rock ads.

All of these commercials ran in Saint Louis, but only the “NtOtR&R” spot originated here.

John wants to start a tattoo removal business where he would remove said tattoo by dragging the body part across asphalt.

You, the listener, can clear up your sinuses by pleasuring yourself (or having sex). The nose & genitals are both connected to the same part of the nervous system called the sympathetic nervous system which controls certain reflexes.

Utility trucks put cones around their vehicles to make sure they look for children before they drive away.

Kids need to wear helmets when riding bikes or scooters or they can get a ticket.

JC’s mother-in-law keeps sending him lists of baby names. Every 5th name or so is hers.

Channel 4’s Julian Grace is a fan of NBC’s “The Office.” I say this because he repeated Michael Scott’s “Monster / Monsters” .com mistake in a newscast.

JC thinks soccer would be better if the field were angled. This weekend at the Saint Louis Athletica games beer will be sold!!!

A new survey by Climate Biz looked at recycling rates, water & energy consumption, public transportation & other factors & then used that information to rank how wasteful each city in the United States is.

The five least wasteful cities in the U.S. are:

5) Los Angeles

4) Seattle

3) Portland, Oregon

2) New York City

1) San Francisco

And the five most wasteful cities in the U.S. are:

5) Saint Louis (ta-da!)

4) Houston

3) Indianapolis

2) Dallas

1) Atlanta

We are looking forward to seeing some CILFs (Coach I’d Like to…) coming to town this weekend for the Final Four.

Prom season is just around the corner & the dress in the upper right hand corner has a design over the crotch-region that looks an awful lot like a woman's most intimate of areas. So parents, keep an eye out.

A toy Yoda is not the same thing as a Toyota.

Since it is Laurie’s birthday, some news guys in Kirksville, MO want to say Happy Birthday to her.

We tried to give away the Opening Day Laurie Mac Land Seats today. But no one person knew these 16 things in the almost two & ½ hours we played the game.

1) The Cardinals moved into Busch Stadium III in 2006.

2) Joe Buck will have a new show this year on HBO.

3) Lou Brock was traded to the Cardinals in 1964.

4) Sunday, September 7th was last year’s Albert Pujols bobblehead day.

5) Rawlings sponsors the Golden Glove.

6) Fredbird charges $350 for a one hour appearance.

7) Dave McKay was born in Canada.

8) ARF sells a 2006 WS Tony LaRussa signed ball for $125.

9) Section 501 is in right-centerfield.

10) Bob Gibson was from Omaha.

11) John Candy was the PA announcer in Rookie of the Year.

12) Deidre Pujols is married to Albert.

13) Andy Van Slyke was traded on April Fools’ Day, 1987.

14) Laurie grew up following the Braves.

15) Bardon Brian is not a real person.

16) John Rooney replaced Wayne Hagin.

In addition to all the things we will have on Monday for Opening Day, we will also have tickets to the rest of the Pirates series. This includes Chris Carpenter’s 1st start of the season (maybe).

The JoY was Harry Hill’s “Widow joke.” The 3fA featured The Cars. The Vault was Cat Stevens’ “Sad Lisa.” Finally, clicky for the cast & crew of American Graffiti.
