Morning Show Musings for Monday, December 20th
Rick is taking a well deserved day off, so "Random Rickness" is on vacation as well, but they'll both be back tomorrow. In the meantime, here's what the U-Man was talking about this morning:
Happy birthday to some rock legends. Alan Parsons was born this date in 1948 in the UK. And Peter Criss of KISS began life as Peter George John Criscoula this date in 1945. Guys know him as the Catman who plays drums. Women know him as the god who created "Beth." (Yes, almost all women on the planet swoon when they hear that song.) Click HERE
I admit it, I'm avoiding talking about the Rams. Yikes. They had more false starts than a first date. (I was told that last sentence was sexist, somehow. May I say they had more false starts than an old car on
a cold morning, or will weather and car aficionados be unhappy? I'll just say the Rams were horrible.) But, still they managed to stay in first place. Unbelievable!! Click HERE
Finally! A cure for one of humanity's worst scourges could be just five short years away. You might be thinking researchers are close to eradicating any number of terrible diseases that afflict humankind, but, no, scientists in Germany are focused on stopping...baldness. Well done, dudes. You should always be kind to your elders. They're the greatest generation, for goodness sakes! Right? Um, not always... When a 70-year-old lady asks you for a ride to the bank, make sure she's not planning to rob it at gunpoint before you agree to drive her. Click HERE
El Monstero performs at the Pageant through December 26th. If you're a Floyd fan, you don't want to miss this! But shows are selling out quickly, so get those tix today at Ticketmaster or The Pageant Box office. Click HERE
