FAMILY MEMBERS COME OUT FOR PAUL McCARTNEY'S LIVERPOOL SHOW

12/22/2010

It was back to where it all started for Paul McCartney Monday night (December 20th) when he played a hometown show at Liverpool's 02 Academy. According to MaccaReport.com, the former Beatle returned to his roots for the intimate show and commented about how there were many family members in the audience, as well as fans from overseas.

Throughout the 36-song set, McCartney played Beatles classics, including "All My Loving," "Let it Be," Blackbird" and others. When he returned to the stage for the first encore the audience was still singing "Hey Jude," and McCartney said, "I'm glad you called me back."

McCartney drove to the show with his girlfriend Nancy Shevell in the passenger seat. His 7-year-old daughter Beatrice was spotted playing nearby the piano onstage before the gig started.
