The Simpsons will reportedly live on. EW.com claims that several top-level producers of the long-running animated comedy have agreed to take pay cuts to keep the show on the air.
It was widely reported that 20th Century Fox TV demanded a 45 percent pay cut to keep the series alive. They explained that the show isn't sustainable under its current deal.
EW.com reported that although some of the producers have agreed, not all are on board. However, their sources say, all sides believe a deal can be reached.
Supposedly, all parties involved want to make sure that the iconic series, currently in its 23rd season, has a proper send-off when it eventually does leave the air.
