Sandra Bullock spent her first Mother's Day as a mom in New Orleans with son Louis. Usmagazine.com spotted the 45-year-old and 3 1/2-month-old Louis visiting an art gallery in the French Quarter. Bullock, who owns a home in New Orleans, previously stated her intention to raise Louisiana-born Louis in the area.

Her friend and former assistant Mark Brunetz, who was aware of the adoption, told US that Sandra kept Louis a secret for so long because, "She wanted to be in charge of how the news got out. She's savvy."

Brunetz added that Sandra has always wanted kids, admitting that she's been talking about becoming a mother since their days as students at East Carolina University.
